Some files, folders and Windows registry entries can be left behind when you are trying to remove Discord from your PC.

Directories found on disk:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Discord
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\discord

The files below were left behind on your disk by Discord's application uninstaller when you removed it:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Discord\Update.exe
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\discord\Cache\data_0
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\discord\Cache\data_1
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\discord\Cache\data_2

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be removed; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Discord

Open regedit.exe in order to remove the following registry values:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Discord\DefaultIcon\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Discord\shell\open\command\

How to delete Discord with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

5. A list of the applications existing on the computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Discord or simply click the Search field and type in "Discord". The Discord app will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click Discord in the list of apps, the following information regarding the application is available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding Discord, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Discord.


8. After removing Discord, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of Discord which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them.
