A way to uninstall DirectX from your computer

How to erase DirectX from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

3. Click on the General Tools button

5. All the programs existing on the PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find DirectX or simply click the Search feature and type in "DirectX". The DirectX app will be found automatically. Notice that after you select DirectX in the list of apps, the following information regarding the program is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding DirectX, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the application you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall DirectX.

8. After uninstalling DirectX, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of DirectX which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them.
