A way to uninstall Daedalus from your PC

Daedalus is a computer program. This page holds details on how to remove it from your PC. It was developed for Windows by IOHK. More data about IOHK can be seen here. Daedalus is normally set up in the C:\Program Files\Daedalus directory, however this location can differ a lot depending on the user's option while installing the program. The full command line for uninstalling Daedalus is C:\Program Files\Daedalus\uninstall.exe. Keep in mind that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might receive a notification for admin rights. Daedalus's main file takes about 39.75 MB (41677344 bytes) and is called cardano-launcher.exe.

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be uninstalled; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

How to delete Daedalus from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Daedalus is an application offered by the software company IOHK. Sometimes, computer users try to erase this program. This can be hard because doing this by hand requires some skill regarding removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best SIMPLE manner to erase Daedalus is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and general utility to maximize the performance of your computer.

• go to Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the applications existing on your PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Daedalus or simply click the Search feature and type in "Daedalus". If it exists on your system the Daedalus app will be found automatically. After you click Daedalus in the list of programs, the following data about the application is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about Daedalus, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details about the application you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. accept the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Daedalus.


8. After uninstalling Daedalus, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong Daedalus that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing Daedalus with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.

Your Windows computer will remain clean, speedy and able to serve you properly.
