A way to uninstall DFX with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

DFX is a program released by FxSound. Sometimes, computer users try to remove this application. Sometimes this is troublesome because uninstalling this manually requires some advanced knowledge related to Windows internal functioning. The best SIMPLE way to remove DFX is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around utility to take care of your computer.

• download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of tools.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the applications installed on the PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find DFX or simply activate the Search field and type in "DFX". If it exists on your system the DFX app will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select DFX in the list , the following data about the application is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about DFX, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details about the app you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for DFX:

• The web site of the program is: http://www.fxsound.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\DFX\Uninstal.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove DFX.


8. After uninstalling DFX, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of DFX which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling DFX with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your system.
