A guide to uninstall DAPPS from your PC

DAPPS is a Windows program. Read below about how to remove it from your PC. It was developed for Windows by U.S. Census Bureau. Take a look here for more information on U.S. Census Bureau. Click on http://www.census.gov to get more info about DAPPS on U.S. Census Bureau's website. DAPPS is typically installed in the C:\Program Files (x86)\DAPPS folder, regulated by the user's decision. The full command line for uninstalling DAPPS is C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallShield Installation Information\{F38CE042-7C86-4DBD-8AA6-69DAB66ECA8C}\setup.exe. Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may get a notification for admin rights. DAPPS.exe is the programs's main file and it takes about 6.27 MB (6576128 bytes) on disk.

The following executable files are incorporated in DAPPS. They take 7.76 MB (8136704 bytes) on disk.

The current web page applies to DAPPS version 2.0.0 alone. If you are manually uninstalling DAPPS we recommend you to verify if the following data is left behind on your PC.

A way to delete DAPPS using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

DAPPS is a program released by U.S. Census Bureau. Some users try to uninstall this application. This is difficult because performing this by hand requires some skill regarding Windows internal functioning. The best QUICK practice to uninstall DAPPS is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general utility to take care of your Windows system.

• go to Download Link
• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire the program's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful system optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the applications existing on the PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find DAPPS or simply activate the Search field and type in "DAPPS". If it exists on your system the DAPPS program will be found automatically. Notice that after you click DAPPS in the list of applications, the following information regarding the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding DAPPS, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for DAPPS:

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallShield Installation Information\{F38CE042-7C86-4DBD-8AA6-69DAB66ECA8C}\setup.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall DAPPS.


8. After uninstalling DAPPS, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong DAPPS which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing DAPPS with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your system.

Your Windows computer will remain clean, speedy and able to serve you properly.
