If you are manually uninstalling CyberLink we recommend you to verify if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Folders found on disk after you uninstall CyberLink from your computer:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\CyberLink\PowerDVD9

Check for and remove the following files from your disk when you uninstall CyberLink:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\CyberLink\PowerDVD9\2cMovie.dll
• C:\Program Files (x86)\CyberLink\PowerDVD9\ACD_X.IMP
• C:\Program Files (x86)\CyberLink\PowerDVD9\Activate.exe
• C:\Program Files (x86)\CyberLink\PowerDVD9\APREG.url

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be cleaned; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{2E46D8B0-D6E5-4745-B012-2659CA00A52D}
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\CyberLink
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\InstallShield_{A8516AC9-AAF1-47F9-9766-03E2D4CDBCF8}

Open regedit.exe to delete the values below from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{0205D263-772D-4317-8FD8-B564D907E5F0}\InprocServer32\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{0381D689-42FB-468E-ACD8-F1ACB68F20B3}\InprocServer32\

How to uninstall CyberLink from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

CyberLink is an application marketed by CyberLink Corp.. Sometimes, people decide to erase this application. 3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications installed on your PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate CyberLink or simply activate the Search feature and type in "CyberLink". If it is installed on your PC the CyberLink program will be found automatically. Notice that after you select CyberLink in the list , the following data regarding the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding CyberLink, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for CyberLink:

• The publisher is: http://www.CyberLink.com
• The uninstall string is: "C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallShield Installation Information\{A8516AC9-AAF1-47F9-9766-03E2D4CDBCF8}\setup.exe" /z-uninstall

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. accept the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove CyberLink.


8. After removing CyberLink, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong CyberLink which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling CyberLink with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your system.
