How to erase CODECS from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

CODECS is an application offered by Multimedia. Sometimes, people decide to remove this application. This can be efortful because removing this by hand requires some knowledge regarding removing Windows programs manually. 2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the applications installed on your computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find CODECS or simply click the Search field and type in "CODECS". If it exists on your system the CODECS program will be found automatically. Notice that when you click CODECS in the list , some data regarding the program is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding CODECS, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the application you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for CODECS:

• The publisher is: http://www.Multimedia.com
• The uninstall string is: MsiExec.exe /X{3A34D569-FA20-4CBD-8F20-30F49D4BB9FA}

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall CODECS.


8. After uninstalling CODECS, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong CODECS which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling CODECS using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
