A way to uninstall CMU from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

CMU is a program released by the software company Information Security Corporation. Sometimes, users try to remove it. Sometimes this can be efortful because uninstalling this by hand takes some experience regarding removing Windows applications by hand.   • download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful PC management program.

3. Click on the General Tools button

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool

5. All the applications installed on the PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate CMU or simply click the Search feature and type in "CMU". If it is installed on your PC the CMU app will be found very quickly. When you click CMU in the list , some data regarding the application is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding CMU, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the app you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall CMU.

8. After uninstalling CMU, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong CMU that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing CMU using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your system.
