How to uninstall BullGuard from your system

A considerable amount of files, folders and registry entries will not be uninstalled when you want to remove BullGuard from your PC.

The files below remain on your disk when you remove BullGuard:

Open regedit.exe in order to delete the following values:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\EventLog\Application\NovaShieldSDK\EventMessageFile

A way to remove BullGuard from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

BullGuard is an application released by the software company BullGuard Ltd.. Some computer users choose to erase this program. 2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the applications existing on your computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate BullGuard or simply click the Search field and type in "BullGuard". If it exists on your system the BullGuard program will be found very quickly. When you click BullGuard in the list of programs, the following information regarding the application is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding BullGuard, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for BullGuard:

• The publisher is: http://www.bullguard.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\BullGuard Ltd\BullGuard\uninst.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove BullGuard.


8. After removing BullGuard, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of BullGuard which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling BullGuard with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
