A guide to uninstall Brave from your computer

You can find on this page detailed information on how to uninstall Brave for Windows. The Windows release was created by Autoři prohlížeče Brave. Further information on Autoři prohlížeče Brave can be found here. Brave is usually installed in the C:\Program Files (x86)\BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser\Application folder, however this location may differ a lot depending on the user's decision when installing the application. You can remove Brave by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files (x86)\BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser\Application\72.0.59.34\Installer\setup.exe. Note that you might receive a notification for administrator rights. Brave's main file takes around 1.98 MB (2080232 bytes) and is called brave.exe.

How to remove Brave from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Brave is a program marketed by the software company Autoři prohlížeče Brave. Sometimes, people decide to uninstall this application. This can be easier said than done because performing this by hand requires some experience related to Windows internal functioning. One of the best SIMPLE manner to uninstall Brave is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and general utility to clean your Windows PC.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system utility.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications installed on the computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Brave or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Brave". If it is installed on your PC the Brave app will be found automatically. Notice that after you click Brave in the list of apps, some data about the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about Brave, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the program you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Brave.


8. After removing Brave, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of Brave which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
