How to uninstall Box from your computer

This page is about Box for Windows. A considerable amount of files, folders and Windows registry entries can not be uninstalled when you remove Box from your PC.

Folders remaining:

• C:\Program Files\Box\Box

Generally, the following files remain on disk:

• C:\Program Files\Box\Box\TBD449.tmp
• C:\Program Files\Box\Box\TBD45A.tmp

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be removed; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{CBB160EC-A361-4078-BF1B-4CCF9ADCB338}

Additional registry values that you should delete:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\Folders\C:\Program Files\Box\Box\
