How to uninstall Blender from your system

Following the uninstall process, the application leaves some files behind on the PC. Some of these are shown below.

Folders left behind when you uninstall Blender:

Check for and remove the following files from your disk when you uninstall Blender:

Open regedit.exe in order to remove the following registry values:

How to erase Blender from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Blender is an application marketed by the software company Blender Foundation. Some users choose to remove this application. Sometimes this can be hard because deleting this manually requires some skill related to Windows program uninstallation. One of the best SIMPLE way to remove Blender is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around tool to optimize your system.

• download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good program.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications installed on the PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Blender or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Blender". If it is installed on your PC the Blender application will be found automatically. Notice that after you click Blender in the list of applications, some information regarding the application is available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding Blender, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Blender.


8. After removing Blender, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong Blender that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing Blender using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
