A way to uninstall BitTorrent from your PC

How to erase BitTorrent from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

BitTorrent is a program marketed by the software company BitTorrent Inc.. Some users want to remove this program. Sometimes this is difficult because removing this manually takes some knowledge related to PCs. One of the best EASY approach to remove BitTorrent is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and general utility to maximize the performance of your PC.

• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire the program's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful program.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the programs installed on your computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate BitTorrent or simply click the Search field and type in "BitTorrent". If it is installed on your PC the BitTorrent program will be found automatically. When you click BitTorrent in the list of applications, some information about the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about BitTorrent, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for BitTorrent:

• The publisher is: http://www.bittorrent.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\BitTorrent\BitTorrent.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove BitTorrent.


8. After uninstalling BitTorrent, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong BitTorrent that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing BitTorrent with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
