The application is often installed in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Control iD\BioUSB folder (same installation drive as Windows). You can remove BioUSB by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files (x86)\Control iD\BioUSB\uninst.exe. Keep in mind that you might be prompted for administrator rights. BioUSB.exe is the BioUSB's main executable file and it occupies close to 49.50 KB (50688 bytes) on disk.

A way to uninstall BioUSB from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO
BioUSB is a program offered by Control iD. Some people try to erase it. This can be hard because deleting this manually requires some knowledge related to removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best QUICK manner to erase BioUSB is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:
1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and general tool to optimize your Windows PC.

- download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
- install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful program.
3. Press the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool

5. A list of the applications installed on your computer will appear
6. Scroll the list of applications until you find BioUSB or simply activate the Search feature and type in "BioUSB". The BioUSB app will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click BioUSB in the list of programs, some information about the program is available to you:
- Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about BioUSB, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
- Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
- Technical information about the application you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

- The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Control iD\BioUSB\uninst.exe
7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove BioUSB.

8. After removing BioUSB, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items of BioUSB which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling BioUSB using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your system.
