Audacity is a Windows application. How to uninstall Audacity from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Audacity is a program released by Audacity Team. Frequently, people decide to uninstall it. This is easier said than done because uninstalling this by hand requires some experience related to Windows program uninstallation. One of the best EASY procedure to uninstall Audacity is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general tool to maximize the performance of your Windows PC.

3. Press the General Tools category

5. A list of the programs existing on your PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find Audacity or simply click the Search field and type in "Audacity". If it is installed on your PC the Audacity app will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select Audacity in the list , some data about the program is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about Audacity, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the program you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Audacity.

All the items of Audacity that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
