A guide to uninstall Atom from your computer
Atom is a Windows program. Read below about how to uninstall it from your computer. The Windows release was developed by VK. More info about VK can be found here. The application is usually found in the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Mail.Ru\Atom\Application directory (same installation drive as Windows). Note that you might get a notification for admin rights. A way to erase Atom from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO
Atom is an application marketed by VK. Sometimes, computer users decide to remove this program. This is difficult because deleting this manually requires some knowledge related to removing Windows applications by hand. - download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
- set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
3. Click on the General Tools button
4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature
5. All the applications existing on the computer will be shown to you
6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Atom or simply activate the Search field and type in "Atom". The Atom app will be found automatically. Notice that after you select Atom in the list of programs, the following data about the application is made available to you:
- Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have about Atom, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
- Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
- Technical information about the app you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
8. After removing Atom, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Atom that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Atom with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your system.
