How to uninstall Atom from your PC

How to uninstall Atom using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Atom is an application marketed by the software company GitHub Inc.. Sometimes, users try to remove this program. This can be hard because uninstalling this by hand requires some skill regarding Windows internal functioning. The best EASY way to remove Atom is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general utility to maximize the performance of your Windows system.

  • navigate to Download Link
  • download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of tools.

3. Press the General Tools category

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool

5. A list of the programs existing on your PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate Atom or simply click the Search field and type in "Atom". If it is installed on your PC the Atom app will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select Atom in the list , the following data about the program is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have about Atom, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the app you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Atom.

8. After uninstalling Atom, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Atom that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Atom with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your computer.
