Ask Toolbar is comprised of the following executables which occupy 1.87 MB (1960096 bytes) on disk:

  • precache.exe (69.16 KB)
  • SaUpdate.exe (192.16 KB)
  • UpdateTask.exe (132.16 KB)
  • Updater.exe (1.49 MB)

A way to uninstall Ask Toolbar with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Ask Toolbar is an application released by Ask.com. Frequently, computer users choose to remove it. This is difficult because uninstalling this manually takes some skill related to PCs. 3. Press the General Tools button

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button

5. All the applications existing on the PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Ask Toolbar or simply click the Search field and type in "Ask Toolbar". The Ask Toolbar app will be found very quickly. After you select Ask Toolbar in the list of programs, some information about the application is made available to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have about Ask Toolbar, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the application you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Ask Toolbar.

8. After removing Ask Toolbar, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Ask Toolbar that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Ask Toolbar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
