If you are manually uninstalling AnyDesk we advise you to verify if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Folders left behind when you uninstall AnyDesk:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\AnyDesk

The files below remain on your disk by AnyDesk's application uninstaller when you removed it:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\AnyDesk\user.conf

Many times the following registry keys will not be cleaned:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AnyDesk
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\AnyDesk

Use regedit.exe to remove the following additional values from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AnyDesk\shell\open\command\
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\AnyDesk\DisplayIcon
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\AnyDesk\DisplayName
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\AnyDesk\HelpLink

A way to uninstall AnyDesk from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

3. Press the General Tools category

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate AnyDesk or simply click the Search field and type in "AnyDesk". The AnyDesk application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select AnyDesk in the list of programs, some information about the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have about AnyDesk, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the app you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove AnyDesk.


8. After removing AnyDesk, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of AnyDesk which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing AnyDesk using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
