A way to uninstall Altruistics from your system

Altruistics is a Windows application. If you are manually uninstalling Altruistics we recommend you to verify if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Generally the following registry data will not be uninstalled:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Altruistic

Use regedit.exe to delete the following additional values from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\AltruisticsService\Description
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\AltruisticsService\ImagePath

A way to delete Altruistics using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Altruistics is a program released by Altruistics Software. Some users want to remove this program. This can be troublesome because deleting this by hand requires some know-how regarding removing Windows applications by hand. 2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful system optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Altruistics or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Altruistics". If it is installed on your PC the Altruistics app will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click Altruistics in the list of apps, some data regarding the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding Altruistics, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. accept the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Altruistics.


8. After uninstalling Altruistics, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of Altruistics that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Altruistics with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your system.
