A way to uninstall AlterCam from your PC

AlterCam is a computer program. Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might be prompted for admin rights. The program's main executable file has a size of 7.02 MB (7362792 bytes) on disk and is titled AlterCam.exe.

Several files, folders and registry data will not be deleted when you remove AlterCam from your PC.

Usually, the following files remain on disk:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Windows.Search_cw5n1h2txyewy\LocalState\AppIconCache\125\{7C5A40EF-A0FB-4BFC-874A-C0F2E0B9FA8E}_AlterCam_AlterCam_exe
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Windows.Search_cw5n1h2txyewy\LocalState\AppIconCache\125\{7C5A40EF-A0FB-4BFC-874A-C0F2E0B9FA8E}_AlterCam_unins000_exe
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Windows.Search_cw5n1h2txyewy\LocalState\AppIconCache\125\http___AlterCam_com_

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be removed; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\AlterCam
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{358AF097-92D1-4750-80E1-F71904AC8CE2}_is1

Open regedit.exe in order to delete the following values:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\Program Files (x86)\AlterCam\AlterCam.exe.ApplicationCompany
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\Program Files (x86)\AlterCam\AlterCam.exe.FriendlyAppName
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\VCamSDK\DisplayName

A way to delete AlterCam with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

AlterCam is an application offered by the software company Bolide® Software. Some users decide to remove this program. This can be efortful because performing this manually requires some knowledge regarding removing Windows programs manually. The best EASY way to remove AlterCam is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and all around utility to take care of your computer.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful system optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the programs installed on the PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find AlterCam or simply click the Search feature and type in "AlterCam". If it is installed on your PC the AlterCam program will be found very quickly. When you select AlterCam in the list , the following data regarding the application is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding AlterCam, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for AlterCam:

• The publisher is: http://AlterCam.com/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\AlterCam\unins000.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall AlterCam.


8. After uninstalling AlterCam, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of AlterCam that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling AlterCam using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
