A guide to uninstall Adguard from your PC

If you are manually uninstalling Adguard we advise you to check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Folders found on disk after you uninstall Adguard from your PC:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Adguard
• C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Adguard
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Performix LLC\Adguard for Windows

Check for and delete the following files from your disk when you uninstall Adguard:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Adguard\Adguard.Commons.dll
• C:\Program Files (x86)\Adguard\Adguard.Db.dll
• C:\Program Files (x86)\Adguard\Adguard.Domain.dll
• C:\Program Files (x86)\Adguard\Adguard.exe

Frequently the following registry keys will not be uninstalled:

• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adguard
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Adguard
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{83217955-cb5b-4562-8a45-9d626b2bb3bf}

Open regedit.exe to remove the registry values below from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{685F6AB3-7C61-42D1-AE5B-3864E48D1035}\InstallLocation

How to erase Adguard from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Adguard is an application offered by the software company Performix LLC. Sometimes, people decide to remove it. This is difficult because doing this by hand takes some know-how related to removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best SIMPLE solution to remove Adguard is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general utility to optimize your computer.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful system utility.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the programs existing on the computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find Adguard or simply click the Search field and type in "Adguard". If it is installed on your PC the Adguard application will be found automatically. Notice that after you click Adguard in the list of programs, the following data regarding the application is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding Adguard, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the application you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Adguard:

• The web site of the application is: http://adguard.com
• The uninstall string is: MsiExec.exe /X{685F6AB3-7C61-42D1-AE5B-3864E48D1035}

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Adguard.


8. After removing Adguard, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Adguard which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Adguard using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your system.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to run without errors or problems.
