A guide to uninstall AdGuard from your PC

Numerous files, folders and Windows registry entries will not be deleted when you remove AdGuard from your PC.

You should delete the folders below after you uninstall AdGuard:

Open regedit.exe in order to remove the following registry values:

How to uninstall AdGuard with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

AdGuard is an application offered by Adguard Software Limited. Some people try to remove this application. This can be troublesome because removing this by hand takes some know-how regarding PCs. One of the best EASY practice to remove AdGuard is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool

5. All the programs installed on the PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate AdGuard or simply activate the Search feature and type in "AdGuard". The AdGuard app will be found very quickly. When you select AdGuard in the list , the following information regarding the application is made available to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding AdGuard, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the application you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

  • The publisher is: https://adguard.com
  • The uninstall string is: MsiExec.exe /X{F7E7F6C0-052C-4290-927B-97B6A6314405}
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove AdGuard.

8. After uninstalling AdGuard, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong AdGuard that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling AdGuard with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
