A guide to uninstall ActiView from your PC

ActiView is a Windows program. Keep in mind that you might be prompted for admin rights. The application's main executable file occupies 1.28 MB (1345536 bytes) on disk and is named ActiView.exe.

How to remove ActiView using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

ActiView is a program by Promethean. Some computer users decide to erase this application. This can be troublesome because performing this by hand requires some skill related to PCs. The best QUICK practice to erase ActiView is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around utility to maximize the performance of your system.

  • download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire the program's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of tools.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button

5. A list of the programs installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find ActiView or simply activate the Search feature and type in "ActiView". If it is installed on your PC the ActiView program will be found automatically. When you select ActiView in the list , the following data about the application is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have about ActiView, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the app you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. accept the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall ActiView.

8. After removing ActiView, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong ActiView that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing ActiView with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
