A way to delete Acquia Dev Desktop from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Acquia Dev Desktop is a program by Acquia, Inc.. Sometimes, computer users try to remove this application. Sometimes this can be efortful because performing this manually requires some experience related to PCs. One of the best SIMPLE approach to remove Acquia Dev Desktop is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general utility to clean your PC.

If it is installed on your PC the Acquia Dev Desktop application will be found automatically. Notice that when you select Acquia Dev Desktop in the list of apps, the following information regarding the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding Acquia Dev Desktop, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the application you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Acquia Dev Desktop.


8. After uninstalling Acquia Dev Desktop, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Acquia Dev Desktop that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Acquia Dev Desktop using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
