Following the uninstall process, the application leaves some files behind on the PC. Part_A few of these are listed below.

The files below are left behind on your disk by AVG 2015 when you uninstall it:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\AVG\AVG2015\avgui.exe

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be uninstalled; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

Open regedit.exe in order to remove the following registry values:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\avgfilevault\DefaultIcon\

How to delete AVG 2015 from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

AVG 2015 is an application marketed by the software company AVG Technologies CZ, s.r.o.. Some computer users try to uninstall it. Sometimes this can be hard because doing this by hand takes some advanced knowledge related to removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best SIMPLE action to uninstall AVG 2015 is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your Windows computer.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the applications existing on the PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find AVG 2015 or simply activate the Search feature and type in "AVG 2015". If it is installed on your PC the AVG 2015 application will be found very quickly. When you click AVG 2015 in the list of programs, some data regarding the program is available to you:

• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove AVG 2015.


8. After uninstalling AVG 2015, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of AVG 2015 which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
