A way to uninstall AMDIS from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO
AMDIS is a program released by NIST. Some computer users want to erase this application. This is efortful because deleting this by hand takes some knowledge related to removing Windows applications by hand. The best QUICK manner to erase AMDIS is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:
1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general utility to optimize your Windows PC.

- download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
- install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of utilities.
3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature

5. A list of the applications existing on the PC will be shown to you
6. Navigate the list of applications until you find AMDIS or simply click the Search field and type in "AMDIS". The AMDIS app will be found automatically. After you click AMDIS in the list of applications, some data about the application is made available to you:
- Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have about AMDIS, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
- Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
- Details about the application you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.
For instance you can see that for AMDIS:
- The web site of the application is: www.nist.gov
- The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallShield Installation Information\{C602292E-81F4-40C7-8899-DA01CC82DC30}\setup.exe
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove AMDIS.

8. After uninstalling AMDIS, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of AMDIS which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling AMDIS using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
Your computer will remain clean, speedy and able to serve you properly.
