A way to uninstall AIMP from your PC

This page contains complete information on how to uninstall AIMP for Windows. It was coded for Windows by AIMP DevTeam. You can find out more on AIMP DevTeam or check for application updates here. More data about the app AIMP can be found at http://www.aimp.ru. AIMP is normally installed in the C:\Program Files (x86)\AIMP folder, however this location can differ a lot depending on the user's choice when installing the application. You can remove AIMP by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files (x86)\AIMP\Uninstall.exe. Note that you might receive a notification for administrator rights. AIMP's main file takes about 4.32 MB (4529200 bytes) and its name is AIMP.exe.

A way to remove AIMP with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

AIMP is a program offered by the software company AIMP DevTeam. Frequently, computer users decide to uninstall this program. Sometimes this can be difficult because deleting this by hand requires some advanced knowledge related to Windows internal functioning. One of the best QUICK way to uninstall AIMP is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your Windows computer.

• download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful PC management program.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications installed on your PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate AIMP or simply click the Search feature and type in "AIMP". If it is installed on your PC the AIMP program will be found automatically. After you click AIMP in the list , some information about the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have about AIMP, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the program you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for AIMP:

• The publisher is: http://www.aimp.ru
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\AIMP\Uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall AIMP.


8. After removing AIMP, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong AIMP which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing AIMP using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your computer.

Your Windows system will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
