Some files and registry entries are usually left behind when you uninstall AIMP.

Directories found on disk:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\AIMP3

The files below remain on your disk when you remove AIMP:

Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the data below:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\AIMP
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AIMP.AssocFile.AAC
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AIMP.AssocFile.AC3
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AIMP.AssocFile.ACS2

Additional values that you should delete:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AIMP.AssocFile.AAC\DefaultIcon\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AIMP.AssocFile.AAC\shell\open\command\

A way to delete AIMP from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

AIMP is an application by AIMP DevTeam. Some users decide to uninstall it. This can be hard because performing this manually requires some knowledge related to PCs. One of the best EASY manner to uninstall AIMP is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around utility to clean your Windows computer.

• go to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire the program's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful program.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs existing on the PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find AIMP or simply activate the Search feature and type in "AIMP". The AIMP program will be found very quickly. When you select AIMP in the list of programs, the following information about the program is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about AIMP, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the application you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for AIMP:

• The web site of the application is: http://www.aimp.ru
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\AIMP\Uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall AIMP.


8. After uninstalling AIMP, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of AIMP that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing AIMP using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your computer.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
