How to uninstall eMule from your system

This page contains detailed information on how to remove eMule for Windows. eMule is typically installed in the C:\Program Files (x86)\eMule folder, however this location may vary a lot depending on the user's decision when installing the application. eMule's primary file takes around 5.49 MB (5758976 bytes) and is named emule.exe.

Frequently the following registry keys will not be cleaned:

Open regedit.exe to remove the registry values below from the Windows Registry:

How to delete eMule with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

 Some users want to remove it. This is difficult because doing this manually requires some know-how related to Windows internal functioning. One of the best QUICK way to remove eMule is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:

1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around utility to maximize the performance of your system.

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find eMule or simply activate the Search feature and type in "eMule". If it exists on your system the eMule app will be found automatically. Notice that after you click eMule in the list of programs, some data about the program is available to you:

  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about eMule, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the program you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall eMule.
