If you are manually uninstalling Windows Agent we advise you to check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Folders remaining:

The files below remain on your disk by Windows Agent's application uninstaller when you removed it:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\N-able Technologies\Windows Agent\AV1Config\AVNT.JOB_CPOINT.xml
• C:\Program Files (x86)\N-able Technologies\Windows Agent\AV1Config\AVNT.JOB_OASFILES.xml
• C:\Program Files (x86)\N-able Technologies\Windows Agent\AV1Config\AVNT.JOB_ODS.xml
• C:\Program Files (x86)\N-able Technologies\Windows Agent\AV1Config\Exchange\AntiSpam\JOB_PMTE_ASH

Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the keys below:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Agent.Character.2
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Agent.Character2.2
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Agent.Control
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Agent.Server

Additional values that are not cleaned:

A way to erase Windows Agent from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Windows Agent is an application offered by the software company N-able Technologies. Some computer users want to uninstall it. Sometimes this is difficult because uninstalling this by hand takes some experience related to PCs. The best QUICK practice to uninstall Windows Agent is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around utility to clean your Windows PC.

• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the programs installed on your PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find Windows Agent or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Windows Agent". The Windows Agent program will be found automatically. Notice that after you select Windows Agent in the list of apps, some information regarding the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding Windows Agent, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Windows Agent:

• The web site of the application is: http://www.n-able.com
• The uninstall string is: MsiExec.exe /X{CD7CF7B7-B8E6-463E-BD17-06C4CDDA4B9E}

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. accept the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Windows Agent.


8. After uninstalling Windows Agent, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of Windows Agent that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Windows Agent using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
