A way to erase WinDVD using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

WinDVD is a program by the software company sMedio Inc.. Some users choose to erase this program. Sometimes this is easier said than done because deleting this by hand takes some know-how regarding Windows internal functioning. One of the best EASY action to erase WinDVD is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general utility to take care of your Windows system.

  • download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool

5. All the applications installed on the PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find WinDVD or simply activate the Search feature and type in "WinDVD". If it exists on your system the WinDVD app will be found automatically. After you select WinDVD in the list , the following information regarding the program is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding WinDVD, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the program you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall WinDVD.

8. After uninstalling WinDVD, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of WinDVD that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling WinDVD with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
