A way to delete VMware Tools from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VMware Tools is a program released by the software company VMware, Inc.. Some computer users try to erase it. This can be easier said than done because removing this manually takes some advanced knowledge regarding Windows program uninstallation. 3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the applications existing on your computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find VMware Tools or simply activate the Search field and type in "VMware Tools". If it is installed on your PC the VMware Tools program will be found automatically. Notice that after you click VMware Tools in the list of applications, the following information regarding the application is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding VMware Tools, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the application you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

• The publisher is: http://www.vmware.com
• The uninstall string is: MsiExec.exe /X{FE2F6A2C-196E-4210-9C04-2B1BC21F07EF}

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove VMware Tools.


8. After removing VMware Tools, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of VMware Tools which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
