How to remove VMware Tools from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VMware Tools is a program marketed by VMware, Inc.. Sometimes, users try to erase this program. Sometimes this can be troublesome because uninstalling this by hand requires some skill related to Windows internal functioning. One of the best QUICK way to erase VMware Tools is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general utility to take care of your system.

  • download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful Windows optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button

5. A list of the programs existing on your computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find VMware Tools or simply activate the Search feature and type in "VMware Tools". If it is installed on your PC the VMware Tools application will be found very quickly. When you click VMware Tools in the list of apps, some information regarding the program is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding VMware Tools, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the application you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. accept the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall VMware Tools.
