Some files and registry entries are regularly left behind when you remove VMware Player.

How to remove VMware Player from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VMware Player is a program released by VMware, Inc.. Some people want to uninstall this application. This can be hard because removing this manually takes some skill regarding removing Windows applications by hand. The best QUICK manner to uninstall VMware Player is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and general tool to take care of your Windows PC.

  • download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button

5. A list of the programs existing on the PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate VMware Player or simply click the Search field and type in "VMware Player". If it is installed on your PC the VMware Player application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click VMware Player in the list of applications, some information about the application is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about VMware Player, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the application you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove VMware Player.

8. After removing VMware Player, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong VMware Player that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing VMware Player using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
