A way to uninstall Uplay from your PC

Many files, folders and Windows registry entries can not be removed when you are trying to remove Uplay from your computer.

You should delete the folders below after you uninstall Uplay:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Ubisoft\Uplay

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be uninstalled; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\uplay
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Ubisoft\Uplay
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Uplay

Use regedit.exe to remove the following additional registry values from the Windows Registry:

How to delete Uplay from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Uplay is an application by Ubisoft. Frequently, users try to uninstall this application. This can be difficult because removing this by hand takes some skill related to removing Windows applications by hand. The best QUICK action to uninstall Uplay is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. 3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the programs installed on your PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Uplay or simply activate the Search field and type in "Uplay". If it is installed on your PC the Uplay application will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select Uplay in the list of programs, some data about the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about Uplay, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the program you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Uplay.


8. After removing Uplay, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of Uplay that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing Uplay using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
