A way to uninstall Uplay from your PC

This web page is about Uplay for Windows. Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might get a notification for admin rights. Uplay.exe is the programs's main file and it takes circa 435.34 KB (445784 bytes) on disk.

Quite a few files, folders and Windows registry data will not be uninstalled when you are trying to remove Uplay from your PC.

Folders found on disk after you uninstall Uplay from your computer:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Ubisoft\Uplay

Files remaining:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar\Uplay launcher.lnk

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be uninstalled; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\uplay
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Ubisoft\Uplay
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Uplay

How to erase Uplay using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Uplay is a program offered by the software company Ubisoft. Sometimes, computer users want to remove this program. Sometimes this can be hard because removing this by hand takes some know-how regarding PCs. One of the best QUICK procedure to remove Uplay is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around utility to take care of your system.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful Windows optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the programs existing on the PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Uplay or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Uplay". The Uplay app will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select Uplay in the list , the following data regarding the application is available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding Uplay, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the application you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Uplay.


8. After uninstalling Uplay, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Uplay that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Uplay with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your system.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
