A way to uninstall Update Service from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Update Service is an application offered by Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications AB. Sometimes, computer users want to remove this application. Sometimes this is hard because uninstalling this by hand requires some experience related to PCs. One of the best QUICK way to remove Update Service is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and general utility to optimize your PC.

• go to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire the program's design and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the programs existing on the computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Update Service or simply click the Search feature and type in "Update Service". The Update Service application will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select Update Service in the list of apps, some data regarding the application is available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding Update Service, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Update Service:

• The publisher is: http://www.sonyericsson.com/updateservice
• The uninstall string is: C:\Archivos de programa\Sony Ericsson\Update Service\uninst.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Update Service.


8. After uninstalling Update Service, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Update Service which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Update Service with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your system.
