A way to remove Update Service with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Update Service is a program released by the software company Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications AB. Sometimes, users decide to uninstall this program. This is difficult because uninstalling this manually takes some advanced knowledge regarding Windows internal functioning. The best SIMPLE way to uninstall Update Service is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general utility to take care of your computer.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the programs installed on the PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find Update Service or simply click the Search feature and type in "Update Service". If it exists on your system the Update Service program will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select Update Service in the list of programs, some information regarding the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding Update Service, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the application you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Update Service:

• The publisher is: http://www.sonyericsson.com/updateservice
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony Ericsson\Update Service\uninst.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Update Service.


8. After removing Update Service, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong Update Service which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Update Service with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your PC.

Your computer will remain clean, speedy and able to serve you properly.
