How to uninstall Unity from your computer

Unity is a Windows application. How to remove Unity from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Unity is a program released by Unity Technologies ApS. Some people decide to remove this application. Sometimes this can be troublesome because doing this manually takes some knowledge related to PCs. The best EASY manner to remove Unity is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general utility to optimize your Windows computer.

• go to Download Link
• download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of tools.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications installed on your PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Unity or simply click the Search feature and type in "Unity". If it exists on your system the Unity program will be found very quickly. When you click Unity in the list of apps, some data regarding the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding Unity, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the application you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Unity:

• The publisher is: http://www.unity3d.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Unity\Editor\Uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Unity.


8. After removing Unity, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of Unity which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing Unity with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.

Your Windows computer will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
