A way to uninstall SumatraPDF using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SumatraPDF is an application by Krzysztof Kowalczyk. Sometimes, users choose to uninstall it. This is hard because doing this by hand takes some knowledge regarding removing Windows programs manually. The best QUICK procedure to uninstall SumatraPDF is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and all around utility to optimize your computer.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system utility.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the applications installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate SumatraPDF or simply click the Search feature and type in "SumatraPDF". If it exists on your system the SumatraPDF program will be found very quickly. When you select SumatraPDF in the list of programs, some data about the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other people have about SumatraPDF, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\SumatraPDF\uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove SumatraPDF.


8. After removing SumatraPDF, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of SumatraPDF that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing SumatraPDF with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
