A way to uninstall Spotify from your PC

Spotify is a Windows program. Keep in mind that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might receive a notification for administrator rights. Spotify's primary file takes about 21.19 MB (22216592 bytes) and is called Spotify.exe.

A way to delete Spotify using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Spotify is an application marketed by Spotify AB. Sometimes, users choose to erase it. Sometimes this can be hard because performing this manually takes some experience regarding PCs. One of the best SIMPLE practice to erase Spotify is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general utility to take care of your Windows PC.

  • go to Download Link
  • download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful system optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool

5. All the applications installed on your PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate Spotify or simply click the Search feature and type in "Spotify". The Spotify app will be found automatically. Notice that when you select Spotify in the list of programs, some information regarding the application is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding Spotify, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the app you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

  • The uninstall string is: C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Spotify\Spotify.exe
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. accept the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Spotify.

8. After uninstalling Spotify, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Spotify that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Spotify with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
