Quite a few files, folders and Windows registry data can not be removed when you remove Spotify from your computer.

The files below were left behind on your disk by Spotify when you uninstall it:

Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the data below:
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\spotify
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Spotify

Open regedit.exe to delete the registry values below from the Windows Registry:
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\spotify\DefaultIcon\
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\spotify\shell\open\command\
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Spotify\DisplayIcon

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Spotify.
