A guide to uninstall SplitCam from your system

SplitCam is a software application. This page holds details on how to uninstall it from your PC. The Windows release was created by SplitCam Co. Go over here for more information on SplitCam Co. Usually the SplitCam application is found in the C:\Program Files\SplitCam directory, depending on the user's option during setup. The complete uninstall command line for SplitCam is C:\Program Files\SplitCam\uninstaller.exe. The program's main executable file occupies 4.13 MB (4329472 bytes) on disk and is called SplitCam.exe.

After the uninstall process, the application leaves leftovers on the computer. Part_A few of these are shown below.

You should delete the folders below after you uninstall SplitCam:

• C:\Program Files\SplitCam
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\SplitCam
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\SplitCam

The files below remain on your disk by SplitCam's application uninstaller when you removed it:

• C:\Program Files\SplitCam\Adver.gif
• C:\Program Files\SplitCam\cv110.dll
• C:\Program Files\SplitCam\cxcore110.dll
• C:\Program Files\SplitCam\data\haarcascades\haarcascade_frontalface_alt2.xml

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be cleaned; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\VirtualStore\MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SplitCam
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\SplitCam

Supplementary values that are not removed:

How to remove SplitCam with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SplitCam is a program marketed by SplitCam Co. Frequently, computer users choose to erase it. Sometimes this can be easier said than done because uninstalling this by hand requires some experience related to Windows program uninstallation. • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of tools.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs existing on the PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate SplitCam or simply activate the Search field and type in "SplitCam". The SplitCam app will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click SplitCam in the list of programs, some data about the application is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about SplitCam, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details about the app you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove SplitCam.


8. After uninstalling SplitCam, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of SplitCam that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing SplitCam using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your system.
