How to uninstall SourceTree from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SourceTree is a program by Atlassian. Some people try to remove it. This is difficult because removing this by hand requires some knowledge regarding removing Windows programs manually. One of the best QUICK procedure to remove SourceTree is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around utility to clean your computer.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful system utility.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications installed on the PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find SourceTree or simply click the Search feature and type in "SourceTree". If it is installed on your PC the SourceTree app will be found automatically. After you click SourceTree in the list of programs, some information regarding the application is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding SourceTree, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for SourceTree:

• The software company is: https://www.sourcetreeapp.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\ProgramData\Caphyon\Advanced Installer\{86C6DD97-335C-4852-928B-F1D01EAB1C2B}\SourceTreeSetup_1.8.2.exe /x {86C6DD97-335C-4852-928B-F1D01EAB1C2B}

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove SourceTree.


8. After uninstalling SourceTree, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of SourceTree which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing SourceTree using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your system.

Your Windows system will remain clean, speedy and able to serve you properly.
