How to uninstall SoundMAX from your computer

SoundMAX is a Windows program. Read below about how to uninstall it from your PC. It is produced by Analog Devices. You can read more on Analog Devices or check for application updates here. The program is frequently placed in the C:\Program Files\Analog Devices\SoundMAX folder (same installation drive as Windows). The full command line for uninstalling SoundMAX is RunDll32. Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may get a notification for administrator rights. The application's main executable file is labeled SMax4.exe and it has a size of 868.00 KB (888832 bytes).

A way to uninstall SoundMAX from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SoundMAX is a program by the software company Analog Devices. Some users try to remove it. This can be difficult because removing this manually requires some experience related to removing Windows programs manually. One of the best EASY manner to remove SoundMAX is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general utility to maximize the performance of your PC.

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good PC management program.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature

5. All the programs installed on your computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate SoundMAX or simply activate the Search feature and type in "SoundMAX". If it exists on your system the SoundMAX app will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click SoundMAX in the list of applications, the following information about the program is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about SoundMAX, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the app you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. accept the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall SoundMAX.

8. After removing SoundMAX, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong SoundMAX which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing SoundMAX with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
