A guide to uninstall Smite from your system

Smite is a software application. This page is comprised of details on how to remove it from your computer. It was created for Windows by Hi-Rez Studios. More information on Hi-Rez Studios can be found here. Usually the Smite application is installed in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Hi-Rez Studios\HiRezGames/smite folder, depending on the user's option during setup. The full command line for uninstalling Smite is C:\Program Files (x86)\Hi-Rez Studios\HiRezGamesDiagAndSupport.exe. Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might be prompted for admin rights. The application's main executable file has a size of 42.87 MB (44947352 bytes) on disk and is titled Smite.exe.

If you are manually uninstalling Smite we suggest you to check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

You should delete the folders below after you uninstall Smite:
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\NVIDIA\NvBackend\ApplicationOntology\data\wrappers\smite
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\NVIDIA\NvBackend\VisualOPSData\smite

Check for and remove the following files from your disk when you uninstall Smite:
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\NVIDIA\NvBackend\ApplicationOntology\data\icons\smite.png
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\NVIDIA\NvBackend\ApplicationOntology\data\translations\smite.translation
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\NVIDIA\NvBackend\ApplicationOntology\data\wrappers\smite\current_game.lua
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\NVIDIA\NvBackend\VisualOPSData\smite\20870146\manifest.xml
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\NVIDIA\NvBackend\VisualOPSData\smite\20870146\metadata.json
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\NVIDIA\NvBackend\VisualOPSData\smite\20870146\smite_001.jpg

Usually the following registry keys will not be cleaned:

How to erase Smite from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Smite is a program released by the software company Hi-Rez Studios. Frequently, users want to remove this application. 3. Press the General Tools category

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button

5. All the programs installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate Smite or simply click the Search feature and type in "Smite". If it exists on your system the Smite application will be found automatically. Notice that when you select Smite in the list of programs, some information about the application is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about Smite, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the program you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. accept the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Smite.

8. After removing Smite, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of Smite that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Smite using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
