A guide to uninstall Slack from your computer

How to delete Slack using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Slack is an application by Slack Technologies. Some people choose to erase this program. Sometimes this can be efortful because deleting this manually takes some advanced knowledge regarding removing Windows programs manually. One of the best QUICK practice to erase Slack is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around utility to take care of your PC.

  • download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful Windows optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button

4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature

5. All the programs installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate Slack or simply activate the Search field and type in "Slack". The Slack application will be found automatically. Notice that after you click Slack in the list of apps, some information about the application is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about Slack, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the app you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Slack.

8. After removing Slack, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items of Slack which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them.
