A way to uninstall SecurityCenter from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SecurityCenter is a program offered by the software company McAfee, Inc.. Sometimes, computer users try to uninstall it. This can be hard because deleting this manually requires some skill regarding Windows program uninstallation. One of the best EASY way to uninstall SecurityCenter is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and general utility to clean your PC.

  • download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature

5. A list of the applications existing on your computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find SecurityCenter or simply activate the Search feature and type in "SecurityCenter". If it is installed on your PC the SecurityCenter application will be found automatically. Notice that after you select SecurityCenter in the list of apps, some data about the program is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about SecurityCenter, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the application you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. accept the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove SecurityCenter.

8. After uninstalling SecurityCenter, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong SecurityCenter that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling SecurityCenter using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your PC.
