A guide to uninstall SecurityCenter from your PC

SecurityCenter is a Windows application. Read more about how to uninstall it from your PC. It was created for Windows by McAfee, Inc.. Additional info about McAfee, Inc. can be read here. The program is frequently installed in the C:\Program Files\McAfee folder (same installation drive as Windows). You can uninstall SecurityCenter by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files\McAfee\MSC\mcuihost.exe /body:misp://MSCJsRes.dll::uninstall.html /id:uninstall. Note that you might be prompted for admin rights. Launch.exe is the programs's main file and it takes approximately 1.86 MB (1952864 bytes) on disk.

A way to erase SecurityCenter with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SecurityCenter is a program by McAfee, Inc.. Sometimes, users decide to uninstall this program. Sometimes this is efortful because doing this manually takes some knowledge regarding PCs. 6. Scroll the list of programs until you find SecurityCenter or simply click the Search field and type in "SecurityCenter". If it is installed on your PC the SecurityCenter app will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click SecurityCenter in the list of apps, some data regarding the application is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding SecurityCenter, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the program you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. accept the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall SecurityCenter.

8. After uninstalling SecurityCenter, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong SecurityCenter which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing SecurityCenter with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your computer.
